to be biased but my jack russell has to be the most adorable creature
walking this earth. His name is Jonah- Rocco (JR) and I have had him
since he was 8 weeks weeks old. He is now 14 months. He is so well
behaved, so loving and since day 1 i have loved and disciplined him
like a child. He sleeps with me at night and when i have pulled off my
bed sheet during the night he will try to cover me up with it. He never
lets me down, although it took a long time (6 months) to toilet train
him and I must say tears welled up in my eyes when i saw how many JRT
need love and a good home. Seriously Jonah has changed my life and the
mutual love we have for each other is indescriable. Everyone i know
thinks i'm a bit nuts over Jonah but i dont care, i am blessed for
fimding him!! Hope all these beautiful creatures find a loving home
like Jonah.

Just thought i would let you know that the site looks great and i love
reading the updates of past fosters smile it makes you feel all warm
and fuzzy knowing that the timid little ones that we have fostered find
a special home.
Congrats on all the hard work - people will never understand how much
work really goes on, but im sure you know that you are running a great
rescue saving 100s of JRT from the green dream

Hi Jill -
We are so loving our Nelson. He is just a great addition to our family.
He had a bad run in with a big shephard last Friday and had to spend
the night at the Vets. He lost a tooth and was rather shaken up. I was
just devastated!!!! Anyway he came home Saturday and is just like he
was but a little more timid. Thank you so much for our wonderful
Nelson.Can I take this opportunity to suggest people at
least look into pet insurance as it cost us so much money after what
started out as an afternoon of fun at the park. Anyway once again we
all love our boy so keep up the good work.

to have found your new web site, my Dad likes to check the site every
now and then, I think that he may get another rescue dog now that he is
at home more, Butch and I send our best wishes to you all at JR Rescue.

the dogs. We had one that was 15 years old and died early last year and
now we have two jackies that we wouldn't be without.They are top dogs
jack russells, l am so glad you are helping rescue them.Well done big

Linda Smith: I picked Billy up from
JRT last Saturday. He has settled great just like he has been here
forever. He is a beautiful boy and loves the beach and our children.

In this world there has
to be a balance in life & Jill certainly provides this for the
Jacks she rescues & re-houses. Many of these dogs people have
simply 'given up' on, never bothered to re-claim or have been abused
but shown a little love & time these dogs can do a complete turn
around. Jill is a good hearted person, doing a great job, credit to
you. Keep up the good work you do.

that our lovely Una is a real joy in our house - she has been with us
over a year now and is thriving thanks to Jill, Heather etc who took
care of her before she came to us. Just wish we could take another dog.

We love looking at all
the jacks that have been rescued and especially that they all get
loving homes. We adopted our Pebbles two years ago from JRT Rescue and
cannot imagine life without her now. She was badly mistreated by her previous owners but now has a great life with us. thank you for all your great work.

Jill. Thanks for your advice re Bonnie - she now just loves the car and
objects loudly when she is left at home. She is a different little girl
after 6 months and is very spoilt but is very knowing and learns easily.

I on behalf of my best mate Jack wish to thankyou for your good work. I
adopted Jack from the Animal Welfare home on the Gold Coast and to this
day i dont regret it one bit. Jack has been my best mate for 5 years
now and we are still going strong in knowing each other.

I got Tess from JRT and can't tell people how much my
life have changed for the better because of her.
