At Jack Russell Rescue we offer this limited service, and would appreciate any donations if that helps you find another home for your Jack Russell, as this helps us continue to help others that don't have owners looking after them.
Jack Russell Terriers need secure yards and housing, they require commitment, human companionship, the opportunity for play and exercise, and attention to training on an ongoing basis. They can make great pets if their needs are met.
Your dog should visit a Vet every year for an annual check-up and to discuss Vaccination status, as well as Vet treatment when required at other times.
All dogs need tick/flea treatment/prevention, worming treatments, as well as Heartworm assessment by vet, then treatment if required and ongoing heartworm prevention tablets after that. Most common conditions are easily managed under Vet advice.
JRT's are generally (depending on their lifelong health) a long-lived breed, up to 15 years and sometimes beyond that.
