"SHARBA"
Sharba was born on 30-11-05, and is desexed,
microchipped and vaccinated. I bought him to be company to my 7 year old Border
Collie - Misty. It has not worked out as Misty is so jealous of Sharba, and is
not interested in playing with him. Misty is very lazy and Sharba is full of
energy. Sharba is very active and loves racing around everywhere, and especially
loves to be chasing or being chased by other dogs. He gets on well with other
dogs and loves being with my 8 and 6 year old grandchildren.
Sharba can do all the basic commands, but could do
with a bit more training, he is willing to learn. He loves to go on leash free
walks, and also walks on a lead. He is a very loyal , friendly dog, but is a bit
wary of new people or places at first -- then O.K.

Cruz
She is very into exploring and playing games which involve logic,
agility, and exercise.
We too used to take her to main beach - where she
would spend most of her time in the rock wall looking for crabs or moving
objects rather than swimming the waves, at nudgie beach she would spend time on
the agilty course - responds very well to clicker training and reward schemes.
If you take her out to the back section through the mangroves - it will take her
a while to follow you up the beach as she will take her time again looking for
the crab and what ever other exciting things which she can explore or chase. She
loves the water and will literally stay in it splashing and digging in the mud
for hours!!! WE used to have a lake at the back of our house - if you let her
out to the lake... 4 hrs later she would still be there.
She used to be
able to come inside before my allergies got worse and we had the baby. She has
been outside now for almost 12 months and has adapted well. When you go outside
the first thing she will do is grab a pull / tug toy and growl for you to come
play.
When she was inside she was trained to stay on a mat on the lounge
room and exit via the dog door for toileting - this may need to be reinforced
again due to the length of time she has been an outdoor dog.
She will
run with you and loves dog parks (unfortunately she was attacked by a German
shepherd about 2 years ago - quite brutally and so is a little nervous now
amongst dogs this size or similar breed colours). So you will need to be weary
of this when in contact with other shepherds as she may squeal although they
don’t touch her if that makes sense.
Has never really been a lap dog but
will sit with you (i am sure as she adapts to indoor life this could change).
She loves to have her belly and neck rubbed and will stand with her front paws
on your knee to do so.
She is used to being clippered (to tidy her coat)
and taking worming and advocate for fleas etc.
Knows many tricks such as
speak, sit, wave, jumping through hoops, shake and bow. She is very intelligent
and will know if she is being tricked into something.
Up till now she
has had a partner in crime... mya a mini foxie whom we rehomed on the weekend.
We really wanted to rehome them together but it was proving difficult due to the
different breeds and people liking one breed and not the other etc, so she would
love another companion if you ever look at getting another dog with her.
I hope this gives you a little more insight into her
personality
Cruz will not
stay by your side and will abscond if let off the leash often to water or bush
land yet again to explore. her curiosity always gets the better of
her.
If she is left at home during the day we hope there will be someone
who will be there to spend time with her.
Thanks
