Do you have fostering? We often foster pregnant mother cats at my business. If you have any pregnant mothers or litters in the blue mountains lithgow area for fostering please email me.
We at the kennel love Jack Russells, they are the sweetest most loyal of all the dogs with the playful nature of a labrador, the lap seeking of a chihuahua and a feisty nature that is never boring.They will always be happy to see you and although they are the naughtier of the dogs it is why we love them. But who wants to get angry at the little things when they are naughty, they are that cute that its ok if they eat the lounge chair. You will never bore of a Jack Russell. |

Hi,
Unfortunately I am in Australia. But believe more room would not solve the problem.
He needs to be shown that he is not the leader of the pack, which is what he thinks he is at present and that is why he is reacting the way he is.
He is like a young teenager thinking he is bigger then ben Hur.
You need to show him you are the pack leader and that what he is doing with visitors is not acceptable.
Also maybe contact Jack Russell Club of America for some help and also his breeder should be available to give you help and advice.

| I have a 1 1/2 year old jack russell, he is full of energy and does all the typical jrt things. My problem is he is getting to overprotective and has started chasing people off when they come to my home. He has bit a few times and when we try to stop him he turns on us. He has bitten my 10 yr. old daughter and 9 yr. nephew and myself. I am affraid of getting a law suit because of him. We live in the city and I believe if he had more room to run and play and explore he would be a great dog. What should I do, any suggestions? |

| over the years we have been owned by 3 jacks and it breaks my heart to see so many looking for a new home. Our girl Suzi is getting on in years and as she is now an only dog we were thinking of getting her a new friend - hence my search for an organisation like yours. We are currently renting our home in transit to a new home but once we have the freedom and space for two jacks we will be back to you, probably for one of you more "mature" boys. | We have a 4 3/4yr JTxFoxy. We are looking to rehome her as she is not getting on with our 9yr RetrieverxLab, she is great with our three children who are 6, 8, and 11 yrs. We think she would be better in a home where she is the only pet. We don't want to surrender her to the RSPCA. I hope you can help. Thanks for a wonder site. |

Hi, Noah is sold and awaiting pick up.
Even if you get a puppy that doesn't mean that you will be able to train it not to go after the cats if they have the true hunting in them.
Take for instance "Molly" who I have on the site she would not have been able to be trained as a puppy to not hunt as she is a true hunter of the breed.
An older one would be more suitable as we could test it for cats and see if they would be cat friendly or want to chase them.

today i went and visited Danny one of the cute little Jack Russells. he was such a ball of love. so i bought him. i pick him up next saturday. and i can not wait to bring him in to our home.

| Aren't there any female Jack Russells that need rescuing? I wish George was a female as I would adopt him in a flash (he's very cute) but my male JRX would have issues with another male coming into the pack. Please keep a look out for female JRTs. |

That is great news as Larry was a lovely boy. Glad he is doing well at Obedience School as well.
