We have a 4 3/4yr JTxFoxy. We are looking to rehome her as she is not getting on with our 9yr RetrieverxLab, she is great with our three children who are 6, 8, and 11 yrs. We think she would be better in a home where she is the only pet. We don't want to surrender her to the RSPCA. I hope you can help. Thanks for a wonder site.

Hi, Noah is sold and awaiting pick up.

Even if you get a puppy that doesn't mean that you will be able to train it not to go after the cats if they have the true hunting in them.

Take for instance "Molly" who I have on the site she would not have been able to be trained as a puppy to not hunt as she is a true hunter of the breed.

An older one would be more suitable as we could test it for cats and see if they would be cat friendly or want to chase them.

Hi, I am looking for a JR puppy for my 10 year old daughter. We think a puppy would be best as we have two older cats and we want a dog that we can train. I love Jackies, my mum always had them. I noticed Noah is on hold - what does that mean? Thanks. D

Susan, we are a group located in Australia. You would be better served to look in your own Country. http://www.russellrescue.org/ is the site for JRTRO - "Jack Russell Terrier Rescue Ontario" (Canada). There you will find a link to Petfinder where their dogs are listed.

Well done and keep up the great work you are doing to help these great dogs. I already have 1 JR and have recently rescued another terrier from the pound. They get on really well. My wife wants kids, I just want another few JR's. They are awesome dogs. I also commend your sponsors and encourage others to support this organisation. Cheers.

Hi, I've just come across your website and it is just great, not to mention what a great job you do for these gorgeous dogs. I love Benny. I will keep returning to this website as I will be in a position in 6 months or so to get another JRT (I already have one)!

Julie, thanks for your interest. George is a real cutie alright.

The females come in pretty regularly so keep an eye on the site. Jill has just added a female called Molly today.

Aren't there any female Jack Russells that need rescuing? I wish George was a female as I would adopt him in a flash (he's very cute) but my male JRX would have issues with another male coming into the pack. Please keep a look out for female JRTs.

Hi Jill,

Just want to let you know how well Larry is doing. We adopted him from you in april and he has definitely settled into his new home! he is a completely different dog now, always full of energy and loves running off and exploring in our local dog park. We've been training him at dog school every week and he is responding really well to it.

keep up the good work, Lorraine and George

Hi!

Wow,You guys are fantastic. I have a 5 year old JRT girl who was abandoned as he has cushings. She has cost us a fortune but I would (and probably will have to) spend it many times over again but do not begrudge a cent. How can anyone get rid of these loving little dogs? She is my little angel on earth!

Hi, This is a wonderful service you offer for jack russells. I have a 2 yr old female which needs rehoming as she no longer likes my 13.5 yr old border collie. We don't wish to take her to the pound, any idea's?
