With all rescue groups we all need help whether it be carers or money to help us keep going and this is my Wish List.

If you can help, please let me know.

Carers - Most of my dogs start in boarding kennels but they are much better if I can get them into homes that will care for them until their forever home comes along.

This also helps Jill assess them better and get to know them. If you are able to help in this way, please contact Jill.

Dog Walking - We could really use some help with dog walking, most of our dogs are housed at Londonderry, if you think you might like to do this then please contact Jill below.

Craft and Sewing Items to Sell - If you are handy with a machine and can make practical items like dog coats or dog blankets or quilts, that would be suitable to sell, we can put the pics up in our "Items For Sale" section. This is a great way to help because people really appreciate hand made items for their dogs and it brings in some extra money for us too.

For further details please email Jill at jrtrescue@pnc.com.au

THANK YOU TO THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE SENT COATS FOR OUR JACKS THAT ARE IN BOARDING KENNELS.  THIS WINTER HAS BEEN QUITE COLD AND THEY HAVE APPRECIATED THE WARMTH THEY HAVE GOT FROM THEM.

Accommodation - The Kennels have been built and now we need to make some  improvements to give the dogs a better environment.
NEXT : We need to organise to purchase wire for an exercise run for them.

ALSO: At the boarding kennel which most of my jacks stay until they find a home it gets very cold and I would like to organise an awning and then some covers to stop the wind and cold getting to them as much as possible.

If you are able to help with a donation either in goods or money towards this or man power this would be much appreciated.

Accommodation -
This has now been done and you can see them and all the work below.

Well with the generous donations from "Kendall" and also "Alanna" organising auctions on a forum we have now managed to purchase two large garden sheds which will give us 4 runs, which will save us so much.

Also would like to thank "Buy a Shed" from ebay who also gave us a great price for them as he also owns Jacks and understands what we are doing.  So please if you are looking to purchase a shed or garage give them a go.

My husband has now started to build them, but this will take time but hopefully they will be finished by Christmas, but I will keep you updated.

The first one has gone up and hoping to put the runs up next time. We have been very lucky to have on loan the wire runs but will need to purchase our own soon.

Next is the dividing fence and then the pavers and we have the first two finished. Well we managed to get one run finished and the pavers down.  Put in a new bed and bowls and hopefully will finish the other side off next week.

The pavers we are getting free of charge from the property next door but have to lift them and wheelbarrow them quite a way to where we need them.

Well after many weeks we have two runs which are finished. Big thanks to my husband who has given up his day off each week to get this done.

Well we have now finished the four kennels and now looking at building a exercise run for the jacks to get out and have a good run around.
